[Review] The Courier (6/10)

I can see why this story was never told until now; it's hard to turn this into a movie and make it interesting. Sure, they could have added action scenes and embellish what actually happened, but sticking mostly to facts was actually alright.

On top of that we got one of Hollywood's greats right now in Benedict Cumberbatch who once again gave a solid performance that enabled the audience to follow his character with ease. However, I thought Rachel Brosnahan was a miscast as she looked too fresh faced to be an experienced agent.

I thought the script could have had more opportunity for Cumberbatch's character to look frightened throughout the length of his mission, rather than never messing up. Especially when he was jailed, I thought he exuded too much courage for an everyday man.

And as mentioned, without much or any fanfare, the movie ended and that was that.
