[Review] The Art Of Self-Defense (7/10)

Title - The Art Of Self-Defense
Production - Bleeker Street, End Cue
Starring - Jesse Eisenberg, Alessandro Nivola, Imogen Poots, Phillip Andre Botello, Steve Terada
Writer - Riley Stearns
Director - Riley Stearns
Release - 19 July 2019

These are the types of characters that really suit Jesse Eisenberg. The first moment he appeared onscreen, he was believable and also relatable.

The off beat type of dialogue was what really excelled in the film. The "kick feels like a punch" exchange was hilarious and memorable. And the concept of a "kick" being a "punch" and vice versa really showed the absurdity level that the movie dared to go. And there were many more examples like this one.
