Free Guy was pure entertainment. There was nothing original about it, you could easily lift the basic plot of The Lego Movie and changed the premise into a RPG video game, and it's Free Guy:

You have a charming lead character played by a charismatic actor, who meets  a kick-ass female that becomes the object of his affection, and they have to go steal something in order to save their world.

But this was done so very well that any RPG gamer will appreciate what it brought to the table - something all video game adapted movies have not been able to do - being entertaining and at the same time still keeping true to the video game elements.

Ryan Reynolds can do no wrong right now. His schtick is working, be it in Red Notice or here. It's the same Ryenolds schtick, but I am still loving it. He recently announced he is going on a break, but I hope when he comes back he will do more serious stuff like Buried, and sometimes bring back his schtick, like for Deadpool 3.

Taika Waititi looked completely corny in all the trailers, but once in context, he was hilarious and he knows how to make corny work. I would love to see more of him in movie roles, if he wasn't such a genius director as well.

A few "cameos" that really popped that I wished there were more of. And Channing Tatum's minor role here also was very memorable.
