It's nothing original and definitely forgettable, but you can see the effort put into this. The production and CGI all looked impressive. And the actors really gave it whatever they could.
Jesse Plemons must have had a lot of fun creating this villainous character, even though somewhat caricature. But he was comedic and added a lot of entertainment value.
There was enough chemistry between Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt to make the movie as entertaining as possible, while Jack Whitehall was his usual funny self. I thought the only big actor that really didn't need to be here was Paul Giammatti, as his scenes weren't even all that much.
There was no Disney magic here, and an adventure-genre that has been done much better by other predecessors. It's just an okay watch.
