Maybe Troll would have been entertaining had we not have had King Kong and that we're still in the 90's. Roar Uthaug, who gave us a decent Tomb Raider back in 2018, somehow regressed into a post-Independence Day Roland Emmerich.
Why do I say that? Because these characters were caricatures of a typical natural disaster movie, with a story that was paint by the numbers. Even the CGI of the the troll was not impressive, at all.
It's so easy to guess what was going to happen next in the story. It was a waste of time.
