Maybe not the best Jeffrey Wright performance but still a great performance.
I would say Sterling K. Brown was a great supporting performer and deserved his nomination, not that he would win.
The screenplay and the writing of this movie was the biggest standout for me. It was clever and beautiful and funny all throughout. And Adam Brody came in with a very good scene, sitting across Wright.
And that ending with its multiple options was a great idea, because we the audience didn't know what really happened, but could pick which one Wright's character presented we liked best. Either of those scenarios would have worked and would have been satisfactory.
