This was a weird experience, and way too long. It had difficulty holding my attention, and the fantastical nature of it all kept taking me out of the movie.

However, there was some beautiful shots, as usual with a Alejandro Inarritu movie. 

But by the end of it, I still could not tell you what the movie was really about. Sure, we see the journey of Daniel Gimenez Cacho's character; but I could not tell you what the fantasy was about or why things occured the way they did.
