I was loving every moment of this movie right up until the third act when all was revealed, and then it felt a little too easy to have the antagonist as who he was. I was hoping for something more... sinister.
But as a horror, this worked wonderfully. The scares were not really jump scares but they were there to serve a purpose.
That big house had a character of its own, though I was a bit bothered that there was only one toilet, and the master bedroom didn't come with one. I guess it's an old architecture.
This writer-director would be one to look out for. A quick search and I saw Oddity used an old character he had in a short film called "How Olin Lost His Eye". Made me want to look it up.
