Body horror is accurate. Director and writer Coralie Fargeat knows exactly how to create disturbing scenes. Because, not only the actual body horror sequences made me squemish, even Demi Moore just kneeling on the dirty ground to get under the metal shutters made me uneasy.
I can see the appeal of such a movie in Hollywood but for me, the third act was a bit much. I personally didn't understand it, and it's just not for me.
But it's great to see Demi Moore getting all the accolades, she's a Hollywood royalty. And it's just great to see the older actresses making a comeback after decades.
