This was not a fun movie to watch. It was just depressing in all the bad ways. It's just sad to watch an unfortunate character to go from one trainwreck in his life to another trainwreck, to yet another trainwreck.
And in between, there was nothing for the audience to get behind him before he went and sabotaged his life again.
The ending, also, wasn't a justifiable development for the character as it all felt too abrupt for him to suddenly turn a corner.
It was a valiant effort on Jonathan Majors' part but the writing was just too dull.
