[Review] Wicked: For Good (7/10)

What continued to work in this sequel was the relationship between Elphaba and Glinda, and the acting between Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. These two women were powerhouses in their own right.

Jonathan Bailey had a song for him to shine as well but the writing did his character no justice by the end of the movie.

And I cannot understand why this story needed to deviate from the original work. It didn't make sense, it made certain scenes look completely silly because Bailey's Fiyero didn't spoke due to the surprise.

Also, just tying this movie into The Wizard Of Oz's made everything confusing to watch as I sat in the cinema thinking back of that movie and how that movie didn't happen.

But whenever Elphaba and Glinda were together onscreen, nothing else mattered. The ending was heart-wrenching. However, too much wrong happened in this movie.
