This movie deserved much more than what it received because this movie was so much more superior than the previous one. Unfortunately, the dullness of the first one put people off of this one. I almost didn't go see this because I did not enjoy 28 Years Later.
Jack O'Connell's character and his merry little band's search for their "father" made this story so interesting. And Ralph Fiennes' character was so much more interesting this time around.
The subplot of the cure also added another layer of surprise that I am anticipating the third movie. So, this movie did a lot of things right this time; and I have to give credit to Nia DaCosta for crafting it out.
