This movie would not have worked had all the actors not gave it a full commitment on their part. Jack Black and Jason Mamoa excelled in this, they carried the movie with beautiful chemistry.
Everyone else also gave this a serious whirl and that made the humour and the fantastical worked. I could see how this was so beloved even though it wasn't something that would hold my attention for the whole movie's duraction.
