This was a masterclass in directing from Paul Thomas Anderson. Anyone of this cast could be up for a Best Actor category but my money is on Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn, who have given a best performance of their recent careers.
And Chase Infinit, in his first feature film, got directed by PTA and got to throw lines with del Toro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall and Sean friggin' Penn. And completely held her own.
