[Review] Frankenstein (8.5/10)

Guillermo del Toro has delivered another epic. The quality and style of Frankenstein reminded me a lot of The Shape Of Water (though not as epic) and that went on to win four Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director.

I don't foresee this movie doing that but I believe it will still be part of the conversation come awards time.

Jacob Elordi was surprisingly good here, giving the monster its humanity. His acting was what was needed of Frankenstein, because without that, we would only view it as "it" and not "him".

I didn't understand why Mia Goth had to play two parts. Seemed overkill.

Both Christoph Waltz and Oscar Isaac were equally brilliant in their parts.
