It's a new take on the zombie genre and it was still thrilling in certain parts even though there was nothing new to the genre anymore.
I thought that one character, one of the teenagers, was written in to be unnecessarily cruel.
What I appreciated about the pacing was we didn't need to waste time convincing people that something supernatural was happening. The story brought the characters to jump right in with the audience.
